Carolyn Ward (she/her/hers) has been an avid creative artist since elementary school, taking her first poetry workshop as a fourth grader. She graduated in June 2019 from Carleton College with a BA in Religion and spent the next five years in Minnesota working as an AmeriCorps Promise Fellow and then was an employee at Healthy Community Initiative (HCI). She worked for one of HCI's programs known as TORCH, where she supported young people in accessing post secondary education. After that, she spent two years in Ann Arbor, Michigan, attending University of Michigan (go Blue!) and gained her Masters in Social Work in May 2026. She now resides in West Chester, PA, with her fiance as they plan their wedding together. Carolyn messes with the written word, homemade greeting cards, and a camera.
